The Independent Mental Health Network (IMHN) is a community of people with lived experience of mental health. We are membership-led, and currently have member branches in the Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Greater Manchester.

In March 2020, when the national lockdown in England first came into force, IMHN built a web-based guide containing signposting information and sharing changes to normal operations in mental health services brought about by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This guide continues to be updated, as we face a second period of tighter restrictions across the country in November 2020.

The work of our network, including our branches’ Monthly Members’ Meetings and Forums, as well as other key meetings, are being moved online. These are mainly being hosted via the Zoom platform.
