This webpage contains information about using the Zoom online meeting platform.
What is Zoom? Zoom is an online meeting application. It allows a host to hold a virtual meeting that participants can join. The meeting broadcasts participants’ webcam and microphone feeds, so that everyone can see and hear each other.
You may have already used similar software, like Skype, FaceTime, or Google Hangouts. Zoom is good at handling larger numbers of people in virtual meetings, and good at filtering out background noise, so that everyone can hear each other speak. Meetings hosted on the Zoom platform are free to join.
We have put together some guides, to help you become acquainted with the Zoom platform and set up your device for joining meetings. The guide has example screenshots to help guide you through the process.
