Mental Health Support Teams – Steering Group [15]

***This role was originally advertised in October 2020, and has since been filled. The information on this page has been left for reference, but may be out of date.***

This role is open to all living in either of the Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire areas.

Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (BNSSG CCG) are responsible for overseeing the development of new mental health services in the local area. They are currently working on a project around Mental Health Support Teams for young people (MHSTs).

A steering group has been convened to support the development of this new initiative; to work out approaches going forward; and to oversee all progress made so far.

IMHN are looking for two lived experience representatives to support this project, scrutinise the ongoing work, and represent the voice of people with lived experience of mental health. Because of the nature of the project we are ideally looking for individuals with lived experience of young people’s mental health support to express an interest.

Meetings currently take place three times per month. The rate of payment is £12 per hour of meetings attended. A full pre-briefing will be provided.

Please apply by 8am on Monday 23 November. We anticipate interest to be high and may close this opportunity early if we receive sufficient applications; so do apply early.
