Community Connect (Curo)
Community Connect is a service offered free of charge for people over 50 living in North Somerset who would like information, advice or guidance to help them stay living independently at home. All face-to-face work has been suspended for the time being. However the team are offering check-in phone calls.
The number is 01275 888 803 or 01934 888 803. The line is open from Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 5pm (messages can be left outside of these hours).

Create Together (North Somerset)
Create Together are funded by North Somerset Council to run community art classes across North Somerset to aid people’s wellbeing. In person events have now resumed, you can find out more and see what the community have been up to on their Facebook page. Their email address is createtogether1[@]hotmail.com.

Go4Life North Somerset
Go4Life provide tailored guidance and support to help people become more healthy. At the moment, the team are providing telephone support to all existing and new clients until further notice. If you would like to speak to a Health Trainer please contact 01934 427661 or please leave a message.
They are also running regular health walks in and around Clevedon, Nailsea, Portishead, Weston-Super-Mare, Worle, Winscombe, Long Ashton and Yatton. Walks are available for all abilities, whether you are new or returning to exercise or already exercise regularly. Learn more about health walks here.

Vision North Somerset
Vision North Somerset offer support to people with sight or hearing loss living in North Somerset. Their Resource Centre is currently closed and unfortunately home visits are currently not taking place. Some social groups are starting to run in person again, the best place for updates on this is the Vision North Somerset Facebook Page.

Voluntary Action North Somerset (‘VANS’)
VANS’ role is to support and develop effective, sustainable and influential voluntary and community action which brings about positive change in the lives of individuals and communities in North Somerset. Working in partnership with commissioners and providers, VANS has launched a coordinated volunteer initiative to help broker individuals to meet demand in health and social care roles and within other statutory service provision through the COVID-19 outbreak.
