Support for suicide and suicidal thoughts

If you, or someone you know, has or is about to harm themselves or others, please dial 999 immediately. Don’t wait.

Samaritans

Samaritans provide a non-judgemental listening service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The phone and text lines are operating as normal. However, at the moment, Samaritans are advising that:

  • it takes them slightly longer that usual to answer the phone or answer emails, as they are prioritising volunteer safety
  • face to face support in our branches has been suspended

Phone them on 116 123 or text on 07725 909 090.
