If someone has deliberately hurt themselves, your local Accident & Emergency (A&E) department can help. If you don’t know where your nearest A&E is, call 111 for advice and guidance. If someone has taken too much medication, it is a medical emergency. Call 999 now.

For free, confidential emotional support, and connections to further local support, call Call 0800 012 6549 (textphone users dial 18001 followed by 0800 0126549). This is a brand new local NHS telephone service, launched in July 2020.
