‘Help Us Help You’ – project looking at the changes to how people access emergency care [12]

This role is open to all living in either of the Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire areas. 

Help Us Help You is the name given to an initiative encouraging people to call 111 in order to book a slot ahead of attending accident and emergency departments or emergency care.

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group is running a series of design groups looking at how these changes will affect pathway for people needing urgent or emergency mental health support.

We are looking for a person; based in either of the Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire areas, with lived experience of mental health and accessing emergency care, to join the first design group. This takes place on Friday 1 October between 14:00 – 16:00; please note that you will need to be available to attend this meeting, which is taking place virtually. 

There are likely to be future meetings of this design group, which are yet to be confirmed. We are able to pay a rate of £12 per hour for time attending these sessions.
